Best comparison to this product id the Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 Headset. I purchased this item and subsequently received this item within the week. Microphone does not pick up too much background noise, due to the fact that it has a low range. The connections to PC are 2-cord (Audio/Mic), not USB.
