Tried it, my first impressions were that the sound quality is quite good for the pricing. Better than the Sony studio headphones at its price range, in sound quality. But, the output of sound is very quiet compared to anything else I let touch my ears. The plastic feel and look cheap also, and isn't a very comfortable fit around my ears after a couple of hours. If I try to add more sound to it through my computer, it sounds like tiny pieces of gravel inside the speakers after getting it loud enough. Sorry, Koss, but I like my music loud. And the 3.5mm jack isn't a snug fit for my PSP; it often falls out of place after putting it in my pocket. After having it for approximately a month, the sound randomly degrades on me, very likely due to how small the cord's diameter is. Messing around with the piece the cord is connected to the jack fixes it temporarily, but it's... Seeing how much bigger these headphones were, I figured the sound would be great. WRONG. Where is the sound on these things?? I put every volume setting on 100% (and also the volume setting on the cord) but it's laughable. You can barely hear your music. I even handed them to my husband to see what he thought and even he agreed the sound was a joke. Taking them back for a refund. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Koss Hi Fi Stereophone with Volume Maximum Durability (158445) (Electronics) I bought these so that I could enjoy my computer audio programs without disturbing others in the room. I thought I was purchasing a good product, but I was unfortunately wrong. The headphones simply do not have enough volume. There is a volume control slider mechanism on the connecting wire, and it limits the volume of the headphones to such an extent, that these headphones are almost essentially worthless. I am not able to compensate by turning up the volume of the computer sound - it is still not as loud as I prefer. Very disappointed in these headphones.konedog |
