I purchased them for about $12 plus $5 shipping and I couldn't be happier. There is quite a good tight amount of bass accompanied by good mids and highs. I am using the headphones with my home receiver(Onkyo tx-sr805) so I don't wake up the family when I watch a movie for play videogames late at night.The sound is great, the isolation is great(there is not active noise canceling) I've never liked noise canceling with the extra battery you have to replace felt unnecessary and these don't need any help. Not to mention they fold up and are very light weight. The ONLY small reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating was because after wearing them for about 6 hours my ears felt a little pinched towards the top and the ear pieces gets sweaty where the faux leather is placed on your head. these replace my old senheisser eh150s. these were totally worth every cent!!! This was the only pair of headphones (in my price range) that cupped my entire ear and had great noise canceling sound. After owning these headphones for 10+ years, the wire had shorted out. I was so upset when I couldn't get them fixed or replaced. After buying and returning several other pairs of headphones I came across the Koss UR18 headphones. I was surprised to see how much they resembled my previous pair. I ordered these headphones with the mind set that I will probably not like these either. I was wrong! They are better them my previous pair! The sound quality and comfort were the same but this pair collapsed for easy packing / storage! I was heartbroken to find they'd been discontinued! I bought a pair of KHP-21v.. it only took me a few hours' use to decide they were not what I sought. I returned them, did a bit more research, and ordered these. the box has been open for less than an hour, and I can already tell you they're a perfect match of the UR15s. so glad to have my headphones back! great sound quality, comfortable, with a bit of noise reduction that makes them great for use around the house. |
